Kimmel
9 – 11:30 a.m. –
Noon - Alumni Scholarship Golf Tournament,
a Homecoming tradition, tees off at Laurel Ridge Country Club in
Waynesville. Shotgun start. Cost: $80 per person, includes fees and
cart. Four-person “captains choice” format. Refreshments available
during play. Social following the tournament. RSVP is required by

2 p.m. - The Last Lecture.
Winford Gordon, assistant professor of psychology, presents “Listen
Carefully in Case Life Happens” in the theater of A.K. Hinds University
Center.

6 p.m. - Soccer. The defending SoCon champion Catamounts take on the
6:15 p.m. - Homecoming
8 p.m. - Spirit Night. Immediately
following the soccer match join students, faculty, staff, and alumni
for a pep rally, music, and food at the Catamount Athletic Complex.
Saturday, October 17
10 a.m.-noon - WCU Alumni Brunch.
This brunch is open to all WCU alumni and includes special recognition
for the classes of 2004, 1999, 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979 and 1974. The
A.K. Hinds University Center Multipurpose Room becomes Alumni Central!
Come join fellow WCU alumni and friends to make weekend plans with your
old classmates, or simply reminisce about those good ole days in
