6:00 – 9:00 p.m.          Christmas at the Depot- Historic Hamlet Depot decked out in Holiday splendor

                                    7:00     Out Of Bounds Barbershop Quartet

                                                Their excellent harmonies and winning personalities will warm your hearts this holiday season.  They might also throw in a few train songs, as well.

                                    8:00     Old Fashioned Sing Along

                                                Join in and sing your favorite Christmas carols

December 4, 2009      Hamlet Cruise-In and Antique Car Show

5:00 – 9:00 p.m.          Join the gang at the Main Street Café and Soda Shop for a wonderful meal, antique car show, carriage rides, and more.

                                    Christmas at the Depot- Historic Hamlet Depot decked out in Holiday splendor

                                    Museum tours offered throughout the evening.  The gift shop and many Main Street businesses will also be open.

                                    7:00     St. Mary’s Gospel Choir

                                                Enjoy the songs of inspiration by a local gospel choir

                                    8:00     Danny and June Infantino, Guitar and Flute

                                                Listen to the artistry of the Infantinos as they play beautiful songs of the season

                                    7:00     Tim Barber, Singer

                                                A native of Hamlet, Tim joins us from New York City to inspire joy and cheer with his renditions of holiday favorites.

                                    8:00     Sue Jarvis, Actress

                                                Sue brings her heart-warming rendition of Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory back to the depot for a repeat performance.  You won’t want to miss it.

2:00 – 4:00 p.m.          Museum tours offered throughout the afternoon.  The gift shop will be open. 

                                    2:00     Backlash Bluegrass

                                                Tap you toe to the joyful sounds of Christmas – bluegrass-styled.

                                    3:00     Dance Sensations

              Visions of sugarplums are certain to dance their way into your hearts.

                                    3:30     Caroling in the Park

                                                Join the community for a large massed caroling in the Depot Park.

December 11, 2009    Santa is coming to Hamlet Avenue

5:00 – 8:00 p.m.          See Santa riding his 1953 Farm-All tractor

                                    Singing: Beth McDonald, Beth Ritter and local church choirs

                                    Gymnastics: students from Physical Awareness Gym will perform

                                    Music: DJ Jimmy Reese will provide Christmas music throughout the evening.

                                    Several Hamlet Avenue & Raleigh Street businesses will be open. Merchants will be serving cookies and hot chocolate.
