DATE: THIRD SATURDAY IN JULY

We welcome you attend the North Carolina Peach Festival held every year on the third Saturday in July in our Town. We began the festivals in 1997 and each year it gets better than the year before. The parade starts at 10 a.m. and the festivities take place in the park. Bring your lawn chairs and sit back and enjoy the local live entertainment. There are always lots of local peaches, peach ice cream and peach desserts.

LAWNMOWER TRACTOR PULL

Each year on the third Saturday in June, the Candor Fire Department has a lawnmower pull at the Farmers Market located at 165 Farmers Market Rd. 910-974-7499.   Come and join us for this fundraising event that helps support our volunteer firemen.  

CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

Come join us for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting.   Join us for the singing of the Carols.   A cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate is always good this time of the year.   Santa arriving on one of our Candor Fire Trucks is always exciting for the children.   For more details contact our staff at the Town Hall for more information:  910-974-4221.
