We are located in Randolph County in a rural area called Farmer just outside of the Seagrove area. Rolling hills and quiet country sides are the scenes you will encounter as you travel here to our pottery gallery and studio.

Our goal is to strive to make functional as well as decorative stoneware. We enjoy knowing that something we make with our hands and comes from our earth is used and also shown in your homes.

In 1994 I had a plan to start a new adventure. Pottery class at Randolph Community College  was my beginning, then building a studio, which my husband Steve built with his own hands and in 1995 I sold my first piece of pottery. In 1999, my son Matthew came to work with me and Lydia, my other son's wife came to work in 2006, so you can say it's certainly a family affair. What a blessing from God to have a business at home with your family.

Our extensive collection of decorated stoneware glimmers in glazes of rainbow and floating blue fired to a cone 5 in our electric kilns. The rainbow glaze is exclusive to Windsong. We make a mixture of a bought glaze and one that I worked on for years mingled in to make all the colors. A piece with the rainbow on it seems to pick up any color in a room that it is placed in. The floating blue is a glaze that has been tried and true for many potters but I have found everyone still loves its rich color. All our pottery is lead free and suitable for use in the dishwasher, microwave or conventional oven. Our pottery is available in many fine galleries and juried craft shows and of course at our location in Farmer.

Come visit our family of potters and find a treasured piece of our earth's ware.
